An annual event hosted by the Prime Minister of Estonia, the Tallinn Digital Summit brings together leaders from the digitally advanced world. Politicians, government officials, representatives from international organizations, and the private sector aim to address challenges and seize opportunities on our journey towards a connected digital future.

The Tallinn Digital Summit 2025 will take place on the 9th-10th of October in Tallinn, Estonia. The event will showcase a series of thematic sessions, where invited speakers set the stage with keynote speeches to spark engaging discussions. Governments and partners are encouraged to unveil and demonstrate their latest innovative solutions to a global audience.

The insights and outcomes from the Tallinn Digital Summit will enrich the international dialogue on the conference themes, while fostering ample opportunities for networking and hosting bilateral and multilateral meetings in person. Additionally, the Summit features dynamic social media engagement, including live LinkedIn and Twitter spaces, enabling followers to actively participate and share their perspectives.

  • Tallinn Digital Summit 2023 took place on September 5th 2023 at the Tallinn Creative Hub. The main theme of  Tallinn Digital Summit 2023 was Democracy and Technology. Digital leaders gathered all over the world to hear keynote speeches and panel discussions. A welcome dinner was held at the Port of Tallinn Cruise Terminal at the end of the first day.   • Tallinn Digital Summit 2022 took place on 10–11 October 2022 at the Tallinn Creative Hub. The main theme of  Tallinn Digital Summit 2022 was Trusted Connectivity through Trusted Partnerships. The two days consisted of keynote speeches and panel discussions. A welcome dinner was held at the Port of Tallinn Cruise Terminal at the end of the first day.   • Tallinn Digital Summit 2019 took place on 16-17 September 2019. TDS2019  explored the benefits and risks of the AI. The conference held a conversations on how AI is understood and applied in various fields of government, business and society – through operational, regulatory and ethical lenses.   • Tallinn Digital Summit 2018 took place on 15-16 October 2018. The focus of the summit was on how artificial intelligence and free-moving data can be wielded in the service of our digital states, economies and societies. Read more

  • The first Tallinn Digital Summit was held in September 2017 among the HoSG of the 28 European Union member states as part of the Estonian Presidency of the Council of the EU. It succeeded in establishing a much needed highest political level debate on the digital future of governments and society within EU. The participating governmental leaders stressed the need to keep digital topics on the agendas of the HoSG, to ensure fast enough progress that also would be balanced. Read more
